Technical Tour: Massport Boston (UPDATE)
Due to the ongoing port strike, we have made a change to our technical tour. Instead of the original plan, we will now embark on a fully narrated, one-hour Historic Boston Harbor Cruise. This scenic cruise will take us through Boston’s world-famous harbor, offering an immersive experience rich in history, legend, and stunning views.
- Highlights of the tour include:
- Heroic stories from the Revolutionary War and fascinating local legends
- Insights into how Boston Harbor became one of the cleanest waterways in the country
- Views of iconic landmarks like the Boston Harbor Islands, USS Constitution (“Old Ironsides”), and the Bunker Hill Monument
- The cruise offers both outdoor viewing decks for a full panoramic experience and indoor spaces with large windows for those who prefer to remain indoors, while still enjoying spectacular views of Boston’s harbor and skyline. Live narration will be provided by expert on-board guides, ensuring a rich and informative experience for all attendees.
As the technical tour ends in Boston, attendees have the option to depart the conference and stay in Boston or return to Buzzards Bay on the buses.
Attendees will have access to hotels in the Seaport District and quick access to public transportation or Ubers to stay at a hotel in Boston.
